DUSTIN’S WIFE STANDS BY HER MAN

PUTTING on a united front Dustin Hoffman and wife Lisa were in attendance at the IFP Gotham independent Film Awards in New York this week.

The 80-year-old Graduate star was there to pick up an Actor Tribute Award in recognition of his 57 years in the industry. He was joined at the ceremony by his 63-year-old other half to whom he’s been married since 1980. Dustin was one of the names revealed in the Hollywood sex scandal after a woman claimed he had made inappropriate remarks to her when she was a 17-year-old intern working on his 1985 TV film Death Of A Salesman. Another claimed he’d asked her a number of sexually-fuelled questions when they met in 1991.

He responded: “I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation.”
