Royal wedding plans are a chance for us to celebrate

WE have, at last, got some wonderful news to celebrate following the announcement that Harry and Meghan have become engaged.

There will be a royal wedding early next year to cheer us all up.

Why can’t we all embrace this great news and be happy for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

I hear the doom and gloom merchants already, questioning whether it should take place as she is mixed race and divorced.

Please just leave them alone and wish them all the very best for their future together.

Let us be happy for them, surely it is what they deserve.
