May’s fighting talk on EU is small crumb of comfort

IS Brexit taking the biscuit (“I’ll fight Brussels plot to dilute our EU exit demands, vows May”, January 23)?

How can our food manufacturers blame Brexit for shrinking our chocolates and stealing our biscuits? This is the problem with business. It sees problems as opportunities and this is what Brexit has become; not a democratic process but an opportunity to exploit us.

Reducing the size of a chocolate bar isn’t a health initiative. It’s a money-making opportunity and taking biscuits out of packets is making our bakers a lot of dough. Syd Vaughan, Birmingham
