Ice Cube and Kevin Hart reprise their roles as police officers James Payton and Ben Barber, following their successful first outing in which the unlikely double act helped bring down a deadly crime kingpin.

However, despite their big bust, hard-boiled detective James still does not think his brother-in-law has what it takes to make it as an officer of the law and decides to show the rookie that he is not cut out for the job by recruiting him to help bring a drug dealer to justice.

While not in the same league as the opening release, the movie still has enough enjoyable moments to keep you entertained as Hart and Cube once again excel.
