MEGHAN Markle and the Duchess of Cambridge both turned up the glamour in Alexander McQueen outfits last night as they stepped out on royal duty 717 miles apart.
Prince Harry’s American fiancee was at her first official evening engagement – an awards ceremony – with her husband-to-be.
The 36-year-old former actress dazzled in a trouser suit by the British design label and Tuxe shirt.
She and Harry were at the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London to celebrate the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges over the past year.
Over in Oslo, Kate wowed guests in a pink and silver floor-length McQueen gown when she and Prince William attended a glittering dinner hosted by the King of Norway. William and Kate, who are on a diplomatic mission to shore up ties with the Scandinavian country ahead of Brexit, were guests of honour at the dinner in Oslo’s Royal Palace attended by the cream of Norwegian society.
Earlier at the palace, William and Kate charmed a 2,000-strong crowd after lunching with the country’s head of state King Harald, his wife Queen Sonja, their son and heir Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
The Royal couple met the crowds when they toured a sculpture park in the palace grounds.
Apparently relishing the cold, Kate, 36, kept the chill out under a £225 Sumac Lacorine luxury alpaca fur hat and a Catherine Walker coat over a £169 blue maternity dress from Seraphine.
