MEGHAN Markle has no idea what she is doing for her hen party, but it has already been organised by her friends she revealed yesterday.
Dressed in a tartan coat on her first official visit to Scotland with Prince Harry, the royal bride-to-be charmed well-wishers in Edinburgh.
On the eve of Valentine’s Day, romance was in the air as the couple, who are due to marry at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19, met fans.
As she was given cards, red roses and heartshaped scones, Meghan, 36, seemed to be further along than Harry, 33, on her wedding to-do list.
“We asked them what they were doing for their stag and hen parties,” said Tom Martin, 30, who was visiting from London.
“Meghan said, ‘I’m not sure – it’s sorted but it will be fun’. Harry said he didn’t know.” Los Angeles-born Meghan wrapped up well against the winter chill in a £1,995 Burberry wool coat.
With snow-covered hills visible behind her, she told one group outside Edinburgh Castle: “Thank you for waiting in the cold for us. It’s chilly.”
While she wisely kept a distance, her fiance barely dodged a nip from Shetland pony Cruachan IV, a mascot for the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
The nine-year-old pony, who has the rank of corporal, has a track record for misbehaviour.
On meeting the Queen at Stirling last year he tried to eat the posy of flowers she had just been given – but she was too quick.
Later, Harry and Meghan met homeless and former homeless people at Social Bite, one of a network of cafes where customers can buy a meal for homeless people.
