Paris gives the Walk of Shame star treatment

Daily Express - - FREDERICK FORSYTH -

ACTRESS Paris Jackson cleans graffiti from a star bearing her father’s name Michael on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Posting the image yesterday alongside a photo of a clean star, the 20-year-old wrote: “Some people have no ******* respect.”

However, her caption referred to the fact that the star is actually a tribute to an 84-year-old London-born radio host, also named Michael Jackson.

She later explained that although the star does not commemorate the legendary singer – who has his own star on Hollywood Boulevard – the name is still important to her.

She said: “I understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name.”

In a tweet, she said: “I don’t think it was intentionally targeted at him. But I couldn’t just hear about it and not go see it for myself.”

Paris was only 11 when Michael Jackson died suddenly in 2009, aged 50.
