Cut out the claptrap and concentrate on the game

Daily Express - - LETTERS -

WHEN I go to a football match I don’t expect the blokes on either side of me to continuously rabbit on and on, stopping me from enjoying the game (“England expects as World Cup fever builds”, June 14).

Usually these annoying commentators cackle about everything except the match in hand. I like the atmosphere and noise of the stadium as well as the football I’m watching.

Surely an occasional comment would be enough. Dennis Ramsey, Woodbridge, Suffolk
