Lisa ‘wants makeover after vile online jibes’
ANT McPartlin’s estranged wife Lisa Armstrong is considering cosmetic surgery after cruel jibes about her appearance, it has been claimed.
The make-up artist is said to have received abuse from angry Ant fans online, with some trolls reportedly even blaming her looks for the end of her 11-year marriage to the TV presenter.
Lisa, 41, split from Britain’s Got Talent host Ant, 42, in January.
Ant has now been romantically linked with his former PA, Anne-Marie Corbett, 42.
A source told the Daily Express: “She’s not used to being in the spotlight and is finding it very difficult to suddenly be attacked by literally hundreds of people almost daily. It’s driven her to think about getting a makeover – she wants to get her double chin sorted.
“She’s never considered doing anything that drastic until now.
“It’s hard enough losing the man she thought she’d be with forever.
“But to have to deal with personal attacks is really annihilating her self-esteem.”
Ant crashed his car in March while more than twice the drink-drive limit.
He was fined and has since stepped down from his TV duties to undergo treatment for alcohol and prescription drug addiction.
However, Lisa was pictured still wearing her wedding ring as she jetted off to Los Angeles at the weekend.
