Take a leaf out of US book over terrorists’ sentences

(“YOUNGEST female terror plotter is locked up for life”, August 4) yet we are told “she will serve at least 13 years behind bars”. Life should mean life, just another thing wrong with our legal system.

There are a lot of things I don’t agree with about the American way of life but they have it right when dealing with convicted criminals.
