Flood market with seized ivory to slash its price

BURNING 105 tons of ivory was a mistake (“Elephant crisis as one is killed every 25 minutes”, August 1). Flooding the market with it would have saved hundreds of elephants, reduced the price of ivory and made poaching less profitable.
