Meet the new GP, same as the old GP but far steeper

WHAT I cannot understand about the crisis of GP shortages is how authorities allow long-standing resident GPs to leave or retire then reappear as locums in the same area, or even the same practice group, doing half the hours for double (and more) the money.

Patients know what is going on and feel very let down.
