Despite wet clothes Algy hurries to the wheel while Rupert unties the boat from the mooring ring. But Algy’s shouts for help have brought the smugglers onto their trail. “We’ll have them this time,” cried one of the smugglers, jumping off the cliff in a direct line with the little boat below. Algy starts the engine.
“We’ve caught you now,” says one big lout, And down he jumps with fearsome shout.
The smugglers heard poor Algy’s wail, And once again are on the trail.
