PRINCE Harry is more popular than the Queen, according to a poll.

The young father-to-be is now the most-liked member of the Royal Family, the shock findings revealed.

Harry, 34, received an approval rating of 77 per cent compared with the monarch’s 74 per cent score in the YouGov survey.

Prince William, 36, came in third with 73 per cent followed by his wife the Duchess of Cambridge on 64 per cent.

Harry’s new bride Meghan was in sixth place with a 55 per cent approval rating, slightly behind the Duke of Edinburgh (56 per cent), but ahead of the Prince of Wales.

Prince Charles, who celebrates his 70th birthday tomorrow, has an approval rating of just 48 per cent.

Just 29 per cent of people have a favourable view of his wife the Duchess of Cornwall who is languishin­g in 10th place well behind Princess Anne on 47 per cent.

Prince Andrew, 58, props up the list in 15th place with an approval rating of 22 per cent.

Confident

Fans of Prince Harry described him as being “admirable, likeable, humorous, fun loving and genuine”.

While those who gave the thumbsup to Meghan, 37, said she was “attractive, beautiful, confident, charming and charismati­c”.

Richard Fitzwillia­ms, a royal commentato­r, said: “There is no person in Britain more loved by the public than the Queen.

“Harry has clearly had a bounce because of the popularity of Meghan and their wedding.

“His various campaigns have resonated with the public too. They have also got the message across well on social media and on television.”

Victoria Waldersee of YouGov said: “YouGov Ratings data shows Charles lagging behind his sons in terms of popularity.

“A crumb of comfort for the future king is that he does rate above all of his siblings.”
