Passenger’s racist air rage because aircrew refuse her more wine
She allegedly flew into a rage when staff declined her request for a top up.
Footage showed the bare-footed woman screaming abuse as she marched up and down the aisle as fellow travellers sat in awkward silence.
At one point she is alleged to have threatened to topple over a dessert trolley.
The captain of the plane was informed of her behaviour and issued a warning letter to the passenger.
She went on to read the letter aloud before confronting staff including the pilot in the aircraft’s galley.
In the video, she shouts: “**** off! I’m a ******* international criminal lawyer and a barrister.”
Boasting about her cases and human rights work, the blonde-haired woman continues: “You treat business class passengers like that? I work for all you ******* people...
“The ******* Rohingyas, the ******* people of all Asia, for you, I’m an international criminal lawyer. Don’t get any money for it by the way. But you won’t give me a ******* glass of wine.”
The passenger continues her outburst claiming the “Irish Republican Army” would “shoot” the members of staff. In one section of the video, she threatens to arrange a boycott of the airline claiming she is the “leader of the ******* boycott movement”.
She targets one onlooker branding the man a “rich, ******* money grabbing Indian ******* ”.
She threatens to turn a member of staff “inside out” before again demanding a bottle of wine. In one four-minute clip, the woman bombards staff with at least 40 expletives.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the woman was taken into custody after landing in London. A spokesman said: “At approximately 1.30pm on Saturday November 10, a 50-year-old woman was arrested after an Air India flight had landed at Heathrow Airport.
“She was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order, common assault and drunk and disorderly and taken to a west London police station.”
