PICKS OF THE DAY
Cookery: Gino’s Italian Coastal Escape, ITV, 8.30pm
The next leg of dear old Gino D’Acampo’s journey sees him leave the mainland behind to visit the remote Tremiti Islands, an archipelago 22 miles off the coast of Italy in the middle of the Adriatic. After a tour of the largest island, Gino (left) collects wild herbs and uses the morning’s catch to create a fish kebab on the beach. What a lunch that sounds like! Gino also heads out to see the world beneath the waves and explores the medieval fortress that was once a prison.
Comedy: Live At The Apollo, BBC2, 10pm
It’s easy to forget that Dara Ó Briain is a comedian by trade, rather than a presenter. The Mock The Week chairman comperes this comedy show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo and warms up the audience before introducing routines by Australian comic Felicity Ward and internet sensation Mo Gilligan. The trio (all above) ensure the laughs keep on coming tonight. NB: 11.15PM IN EIRE AND NI
Politics: Trump And The Truth: America’s Conspiracy Wars – Tonight, ITV, 7.30pm

As ever with programmes on Trump, it makes for interesting viewing.
