Rare kitty makes her debut for cameras
A RARE Scottish wildcat kitten has been photographed for the first time.
The female, born at Chester Zoo in August, could offer a “lifeline for the species”, zoo bosses said. Wildcats, hunted to the brink of extinction, are Britain’s rarest mammals. As few as 100 are estimated to be left. The zoo said: “Wildcats will usually have only one litter a year, so every birth is really significant.”
