Unai won’t play memory game
UNAI EMERY claims he has blanked the memory but the Arsenal manager has reason to fear Huddersfield this afternoon.
This time last year his Paris Saint-Germain side’s 25-match unbeaten run was ended at strugglers Strasbourg.
Now Emery puts Arsenal’s 20-match unbeaten run at stake away to the Terriers, who are fourth from bottom.
“I’ve learned in the Premier League that every team has good players, good organisation and good possibilities in the 90 minutes against every team,” said Emery.
“On Saturday the first thing is a very big respect, more than Manchester United, more than Tottenham, because we need a high level in our performance to win against them.
“They are going to push a lot and will want a surprise.”
Emery insisted when asked: “I don’t remember Strasbourg. I said before, I only remember football in the present.
“For me, yesterday is a long time ago. Saturday is also long ago. I’m thinking only of today, preparing for the match at Huddersfield.
“Football happens very quickly, with positive things, negative things, but you need to learn. Learning, also improving, and to think things you need to create a new victory.
