We won’t get a ban

PEP GUARDIOLA says he is confident Manchester City will not face a Champions League ban for allegedly breaking UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.

The City manager, below, says senior figures at the club have assured him there is little danger of his side being booted out of next season’s tournament.

Asked whether he feared a ban, Guardiola was unequivocal. “We will not be banned, no,” he said. “That’s what I think because I trust in my chairman, with my CEO, what they have explained to me. I trust in them.”
