Parole Board has a case to answer over killer’s release

AFTER the news that triple child killer David McGreavy is to be freed, I can assure you that it is not only the children’s mother who is outraged (“Mum’s outrage as triple child killer to go free”, December 5).

The Parole Board has apparently been planning this for years and the statement “he will be less likely to re-offend” does not make comfortabl­e reading for many.

These dear, innocent children were killed without mercy and the anonymous members of the Parole Board are happy to put others at risk. No wonder UK crimes against children and infant cruelty have doubled in the last five years when you have examples such as this one.
