BBC must stop rinsing the over-75s over TV licences
MY partner and myself are aged 80-plus and have contributed to a TV licence all our lives up to the age of 75 and feel that it is a disgrace for them to now decide to take this from us, especially as so many of our large organisations give such large salaries to their management.
We do enjoy watching all programmes on TV and can never understand why it is only the BBC that receives money from these fees. Why can’t they use advertising to obtain this like all other TV companies do?
