A nation divided for now!

AS THE showdown approaches we have to face the fact we are a divided nation. People have split into two camps and the outcome will mean wealth for some and losses for others. Yes, the Strictly Come Dancing final tomorrow night will have millions of us glued to BBC1. According to the bookies, punters are evenly split between Joe Sugg and Stacey Dooley but other contenders Ashley Roberts or Faye Tozer may yet foxtrot to victory.

Whatever the outcome, Strictly has been in many ways the best of British TV, bringing families together.

At a time when so much TV is filled with cynical comedians and cheap panel shows, we need more programmes like Strictly to provide some good oldfashioned family entertainment.
