The Prime Minister was widely mocked when she bounced on stage to ABBA’s Dancing Queen at the Tory party conference in October.
Now comedian Walliams has recreated the infamous moment for Heat magazine.
He slipped into a version of her black suit and wore heels for the copycat snaps.
With pursed lips and red lipstick, he then copied the dance moves she used when taking to the stage ahead of her conference speech.
Walliams said: “I like the awkwardness of the image because it’s as if she’s doing dad dancing, even though she’s a lady.
“I think she was trying to embrace her fun side – but I’m not sure it totally came off.”
