Forget Dan Walker, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, this comedy takes a peek beneath the surface of breakfast television in America. A TV producer fired from a news station takes over running an early morning show that is on the brink of cancellation. She tries to revive its flagging fortunes by hiring a foul-tempered veteran news reporter as the new host, only to find he and his co-presenter loathe each other. Rachel McAdams (left) stars.
