Bercow’s got to go after Commons embarrassment
THE Commons Speaker John Bercow has disgraced himself and his office (“May joins attack on Speaker”, January 11).
By blatantly flouting the impartiality which he is duty bound to show, he has shown himself unfit to be Speaker and should go immediately.
At such a critical time for this nation, to show such bias towards the camp opposing the will of the people is anti-democratic.
If, as a result of Mr Bercow’s actions, Remainer MPs are helped to force a second referendum or cause Brexit to collapse, this would represent a total abrogation of the democratic process, causing dismay in the free world and exceeding anger at home.
Not the least of that anger would be directed at Mr Bercow.
