Christie: I’m 65 but my spirit age is younger

SHE was the “Uptown Girl” and one of the most famous pin-ups of the 1980s.

But former supermodel Christie Brinkley proved she is still in terrific shape as she celebrated her “50th birthday for the 15th time” yesterday.

At 65, the former wife of pop superstar Billy Joel embraced her years with a “Milestones of Me” party in New York.

Christie, who was launching a non-surgical facelift, looked sensational in a gold and silver sequinned mini dress with matching chrome pumps.

The mum of three blew out candles before telling guests: “I might be turning 65 biologically, but my spirit number is like much younger.

“Women have lived their lives being influenced by the numbers, with so many rules about those numbers.

“But now we ignore those numbers because we’re the generation that did know how to eat right, that did exercise.

“I encourage you to get in touch with your spirit number.”

Joel wrote Uptown Girl for Christie and she starred in the video. It topped the UK charts for five weeks in 1983.
