James’ pace stings Bees

DANIEL JAMES inspired a spectacula­r second-half revival as his stunning solo strike saw off Brentford.

The Bees were stung after dominating the opening spell and making Swansea pay with a lightning counter-attack finished off by Ollie Watkins.

Goalkeeper Luke Daniels’ unlucky own-goal levelled the scores before James ran 84 yards in 8.48 seconds and produced a cool finish to give his side the lead.

Swansea boss Graham Potter said the goal underlined why James’ talents belong in the top flight.
