‘ROBIN’ HITS £250,000 jackpOT

A PENSIONER was celebrating winning £250,000 yesterday, saying he wants a sun-soaked holiday and plans to donate some of the cash to charity.

The 80-year-old from Burnley who would only give his name as Robin won the Health Lottery Mega Raffle jackpot.

He found out when the cashier said his prize was too large to redeem in store. Robin said: “I contacted my best friend – my wife – first. I couldn’t wait to share the news.”

The next £250,000 Mega Raffle is on March 1.
