Campaigner Paul Flynn dies at 84
TRIBUTES were paid yesterday to campaigning Labour MP Paul Flynn, who has died aged 84.
Mr Flynn represented Newport West since 1987.
The Welsh-speaking MP held shadow cabinet posts and campaigned on issues including benefits, animal welfare and devolution.
Leader Jeremy Corbyn said he was a credit to the party. Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford hailed his “courage and integrity”.
