Don’t work with animals! Sausage dogs floor Holly...

IT’S not often that presenter Holly Willoughby is floored by her TV tasks.

But the 38-year-old lost her balance on This Morning yesterday while holding on to half a dozen sausage dogs following a segment on a canine hotel in Derbyshire which is just for Dachshunds.

As co-host Phillip Schofield, 57, looked on, she was dragged across the studio floor on her tummy by the tiny terrors.

The old showbiz expression “never work with animals” may have been on her mind as laughing Holly was first brought to her knees as the dogs tried to run away.

And they soon proved too strong as she fell.

One asked: “Anyone watching This Morning and just seen Holly Willoughby get dragged across the floor by sausage dogs or have I officially lost it?” Another wrote: “Watching @hollywills being pulled along the floor by sausage dogs is exactly what I needed to start the day.” And a third said that seeing Holly being dragged on the floor by the sausage dogs “has made my Holly is dragged across the floor by the dogs, top, before one turns back to check on her day”. The canine chaos meant Phillip was able to turn the tables on his co-star. The day before Holly was in fits of giggles as he gurned his way through a face yoga session, trying exercises called the puffer fish and the turkey lift toner.
