NHS does a fantastic job under extreme pressure
IWANTED to acknowledge the fantastic job the NHS is doing under extreme pressures such as funding cuts and ever-growing patients numbers (“Action to end cruel delays for the dying”, July 11).
In modern society it seems acceptable to pay footballers, bankers and BBC presenters crazy wages. How can we say we can’t fund essential services in the NHS, but can find money for crazy initiatives? The priority must be the NHS.
