Dressing in jeans for the office is not a smart idea

HOW sorry I was to read about people wearing scruffy jeans to work (“Office workers ditch smart suits for jeans”, July 10).

I have always enjoyed wearing good suits and receive many a smile and compliment for “being a delight to the eye”. Just like poor speech on TV and bad grammar, it’s another nail in the coffin of this once-great nation.
