Much-loved musical takes a dark turn

FANS have declared themselves “terrified” after watching the “weird” trailer for the movie Cats.

Far from a fun-filled adaptation of Andrew LloydWebber’s much-loved musical, viewers found themselves transported to a dark fantasy world.

Stars include Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, James Corden, Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen coated in CGI fur – but these are far from lovable moggies.

One fan wrote: “I’m all in for a Cats movie, but holy hell those designs are creepy!”
