She’s a perfect 10! Shirley, the bikini belle of the pool
STRICTLY judge Shirley Ballas has thrilled fans with a new set of snaps by the pool.
The 58-year-old dancer, known as the Queen of Latin, posted these images on Instagram as she lounged around in a floral bikini.
One follower said the Liverpool-born professional dancer looked like a woman half her age as she posed at her holiday mansion in Los Angeles.
One picture showed the twice-married TV favourite on an inflatable swan.
In another she is seen with pal Nathan Grundy, one half of hair and make-up team Alanate11.
A caption with the photographs said: “Today is going to be an amazing day, lots of things happening, lots of excitement.”
Shirley, who replaced Len Goodman as head judge on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, spends the summer in the US to be close to her dancer son Mark, 33. She returns when the BBC smash hit show starts.
Although Shirley has become a firm favourite with viewers she previously admitted to being nervous about taking up the job.
She said: “Going from being a dance teacher to suddenly being the head judge was a little overwhelming, but it’s amazing and thrilling.
“I have been around for 50 years in this industry so I’ll just be as honest as I can.
“I am very strict, feisty and fair. I want people to do well but I want people to take healthy criticism. It’s a competition and I will be giving my honest opinion.”
Since the start of the year Shirley has been dating actor Daniel Taylor, 44, after they met during rehearsals for panto Jack And The Beanstalk in Liverpool.
