Love-split Paul ‘hasn’t seen son for two years’
BAKE Off star Paul Hollywood allegedly has not seen his teenage son in almost two years amid a bitter feud over his failed romance with Summer Monteys-Fullam.
Hollywood, 53, is believed to have become estranged from Joshua, 17, after splitting from wife Alex and moving on to romance Summer, 24.
That relationship has now also ended, with each making accusations about the other.
Distressing
According to reports, Joshua has ignored text messages from his father. A representative for Alex said: “Paul hasn’t seen his son since November, 2017 and the split has been deeply distressing to him.
“Paul is aware of his son’s feelings on the matter.
“Alex would never normally comment but on this occasion it is important that the truth is known and that Josh is protected.
“Josh has behaved admirably the past two years and has only ever made Alex proud during the very difficult times.”
Hollywood and Alex married in 1998 after meeting in Cyprus but they split in 2013 after the star’s affair with his TV co-star Marcela Valladolid, who cohosted his show The American Baking Competition.
They later reconciled but Hollywood subsequently fell for Summer after meeting her in a pub near the family home in Kent.
The marriage then ended and the Bake Off judge moved in with his new younger lover.
However, that romance is now over and the split has turned nasty. Addressing the break-up on Instagram, Hollywood said he had “never understood anyone who makes money selling stories and courting the paps”.
Now Summer has hit back on the social media platform, threatening legal action.
She said: “I am very disappointed and distressed by false and highly defamatory statements that Paul has made about me online since our break-up.
“I have had no alternative but to instruct my solicitors Brett Wilson LLP to pursue legal proover ceedings against Paul in order to obtain vindication.
“I have never courted publicity over my relationship with Paul and I am deeply disappointed that our relationship has ended in this way.”
