Tom Cook’s wedding woes
A GROOM who shares the same name as the failed holiday firm has been left “shattered” after his wedding in Rhodes looks unlikely to go ahead.
Thomas Cook, 29, and partner Amelia Binch, 27, from Hucknall, Notts, are stuck on the Greek island after booking a £10,000 dream wedding package with the company.
They jetted out last week and plan to promised us a surprise on our wedding because of my name – but this was not the surprise we were expecting.
“I am devastated. We have 30-plus friends and family coming out.
“Half are stuck at home in limbo.
“My best man is still in England. No one here knows anything.
