WEST BROM 2 SHEFF WED 1

-

HAL ROBSON-KANU is keen on making a Wales comeback.

The 30-year-old striker’s 10th-minute goal – his fourth in six games – and Charlie Austin’s late spot-kick led

West Brom to victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

“I’ve been speaking to Wales for a while about making myself available,” said Robson-Kanu, above. “It is nothing to do with qualifying for the Euros, it’s about whether they feel I can help the team.

“I retired so I could concentrate on my club football.” Liam Palmer was sent off in stoppage time for Wednesday, who replied with a penalty from Steven Fletcher.
