Cleanse twice a day, morning and evening. Morning cleansing will wake up your skin, but it’s even more important to cleanse at night as your skin regenerate­s while you sleep.

Water is not enough to remove make-up, excess oil or pollution. Hot water can also make rosacea flare up as well as drying out skin. So use a suitable cleanser and be gentle with your skin – no harsh rubbing or scrubbing.

Don’t over-cleanse. Using grainy exfoliator­s every day or cleansing too many times a day will irritate skin and lead to breakouts. It can also encourage skin to produce too much oil.

Cleansing should take at least a couple of minutes.Apply cleanser to your face and, using your fingertips, rub in circular movements for 30 seconds. Let it sink in for a minute or two before removing.

Micellar water contains microscopi­c bubbles of oil, which remove make-up and other grime.They leave no residue on the skin and can be used by all skin types. Brilliant as a make-up remover, we advise a second cleanse afterwards to give skin a thorough clean.
