BRAD AND JENNIFER Friends reunited

- By Frances Millar

BRAD Pitt and Jennifer Aniston appear to be winning each other over again as they share several tender moments at an awards do.

The former power couple sent fans into a frenzy with their lingering looks and chemistry.

At one point Brad, 56, was pictured hanging on to his ex-wife’s hand and gazing wistfully after her as she turned away from the Hollywood heartthrob.

Brad was also heard saying, “Oh wow” and staring at a backstage screen while he watched Friends icon Jen, 50, accept a gong at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Stretch

Neither left the LA ceremony empty-handed – Jennifer, who wore a body-skimming white silk dress, took best actress in a drama series for The Morning Show.

Brad was named best supporting actor for the movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Accepting his award, Brad joked that he would boast about the win on dating app Tinder.

He also made light of his second divorce – to actress Angelina Jolie – saying, “Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part: the guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn’t get on with his wife. “It’s a big stretch.”

The camera crew then cheekily cut to Jennifer, who applauded his quip. Later on Sunday night the pair went to the same Netflix after-party at the Sunset Tower Hotel – along with Al Pacino, Leonardo DiCaprio and Laura Dern.

Yesterday, photos of Brad and Jennifer were doing the rounds on social media, with her close pal and Friends co-star Courteney Cox among those to “like” the snaps.

It has been 15 years since Brad and Jen announced their shock separation after seven years together. The couple, who wed in 2000, got divorced in 2005 – the same year Brad began dating Angelina, 44. They got married in 2014, only to split two years later.

Jennifer wed Justin Theroux, 48, in 2015 but they divorced in 2017.

GOLDEN girl Phoebe Waller-Bridge has taken Hollywood by storm again, adding another statue to her heaving trophy shelf.

The multi-talented star, 34, won a best actress gong at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

It is yet another addition to her haul, which includes two Golden Globes, two Critics’ Choice Awards and three Emmys.

London-born Phoebe, who co-wrote the new James Bond movie No Time To Die, won the award for hit BBC sitcom Fleabag’s second series.

Phoebe told the crowd at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday night, which included her co-stars Andrew Scott and Sian Clifford: “At some point, it will all hit me and I will have a good old cry about it.

“Tonight, as a Fleabag gang, we will soak this up...in a room I never imagined I would be in.

“This whole thing really has been a dream and if I wake up tomorrow and discover it has been just that, then thank you, it has been the most beautiful dream.”

Inspiration

Phoebe also cited “Hollywoody” trappings, joking that her make-up artist painted a six-pack on her midriff before her red carpet appearance.

Last week, Phoebe revealed Jennifer Lopez, 50, was the inspiration for Fleabag’s Hot Priest character and she got to thank her on Sunday as the pair hugged and joked.

Fleabag was tipped to win Sunday’s best comedy series gong, but lost out to Amazon’s US comedy-drama The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.

Netflix’s The Crown won outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, with Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Princess Margaret, among its stars who took to the stage.

Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger won best actress for her portrayal of Judy Garland in Judy, and pal, Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, was among the first to congratulate her.

The top award of the night, outstanding cast in a motion picture, went to South Korean dark comedy Parasite – now a firm best picture contender at next month’s Oscars.

Stars on the red carpet included Glenn Close, Henry “The Fonz” Winkler and Nicole Kidman.
