Capital punishment was more effective than jail

THE Streatham terror attack illustrates a serious and recurring problem created and perpetuated by the nanny state.

Statistics regularly published and updated show consistently that not just terrorists, but other murderers also, frequently reoffend shortly after release from prison.

Older statistics show that criminals who were hanged for murder never reoffended.

It is high time the Government considered the reintroduction of this effective penalty for murder and terrorism.
