Royal protection cops drop guns for Tasers
PRINCE Harry has kept his options open on returning to live in Britain after deciding not to apply for a green card or US citizenship, it was claimed yesterday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved to California from their previous base on Vancouver Island in Canada but their future plans have been put on hold because of the coronavirus crisis.
It is understood Harry, 35, has no plans for the foreseeable future to apply for a green card or American citizenship.
His marriage to Los Angeles-born Meghan, 38, would in theory smooth his path to permanent residence.
But a royal source was quoted by The Sunday Times yesterday as saying: “The Duke has not made an application for dual citizenship and I don’t think he will apply for a green card at any point.” The

Sussexes’ main office is now run from LA and Harry and Meghan’s remaining spokesman in London could not confirm or deny the story.
The couple are understood to be renting a house in California and thought to be eyeing a home in beachfront millionaires’ playground Malibu for them and son Archie, one next month.

ROYAL protection officers for junior royals have had their guns replaced with Tasers in a move described as “nonsensical”.
It is believed that Harry and Meghan’s security details will also carry stun guns when they visit the UK from Los Angeles, where they live with their baby son Archie.
