Kylie at 52... putting her best foot forward
KYLIE Minogue puts her best barefoot forward as she steps out ahead of her 52nd birthday today.
The singer looked relaxed as she strolled alongside boyfriend Paul Solomons, 46.
Sandals in hand, the hitmaker clearly had romance on her mind, sporting a T-shirt with “love talk” on the front.
Kylie, whose hits include I Should Be So Lucky and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head said today’s celebrations would be a quiet affair amid continued social distancing restrictions.
She said: “Two years ago I had, uncharacteristically, a massive party for my 50th.
“This year it might be the quietest birthday ever!
“I’ll be at home and no doubt spend some time talking with family and friends. I’ll most definitely be having a glass (or two) of rose to celebrate and have so much gratitude for my birthday, my family and my friends.”
The singer-turned wine maker also launches her Rose Vin de France brand today, which she says reflects her character.

Her fans have more music to look forward to – Kylie has spent the Covid-19 lockdown recording her next album from her living room.
She said: “I’ve been really busy, setting up a home studio (AKA my lounge room!) and learning so much about remote recording. It’s been a steep learning curve for all the team as there are technical obstacles to navigate but I’m so thankful to be able to continue work on my album in this way.
“I’ve been riding the emotional wave along with the rest of the world but creativity has been a big help.”
The Australian-British star has been dating Paul since they were introduced by friends in 2018.
The pair confirmed they were an item in April and Kylie has said she had “found her man”.
Kylie has said of her romance with British GQ creative director Paul: “I feel even more thankful and lucky that I have this in my life now.
“I’m really being taken care of.”
