Food And Drink: Bake Off: The Professionals, C4, 8pm

The new series roared into life last week with a colourful explosion of strawberry tarts, fruit salads and pineapple upside-down cakes. Sadly it led to an early exit for James and Neta from the Andaz Hotel. Tonight, hosts Liam Charles (left) and Tom Allen – in tandem with vibrant judging duo Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden – are ready for round two. This week the five pairs left are challenged to create mille-feuille that look exactly like eggs and a bird-themed piéce montée which must be adorned with enough Paris-Brest to serve 24. Judges are on hand to assess the results of their efforts and decide which team will be leaving the contest.
