Film: Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Film4, 7.10pm

A planned spin-off from this film never materialised – read into that what you will. This sci-fi adventure did reasonably well at the box office, though, with Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd (all above) starring. Building on from the first film in the franchise, the team takes on a mysterious alien who has been sent to prepare Earth for obliteration.
