Media’s Boris bashing is all due to Brexit
FULL marks to Sir Robbie Gibb for his article in Saturday’s paper (“Give credit where it’s due in the coronavirus fight”, June 6.)
Facing an unknown virus spreading rapidly across the world, most countries got things both right and wrong in the way they tackled the pandemic, as scientists from all nations have struggled to find the answers.
The continual doing down of Boris Johnson and his team’s response to Covid-19 by certain newspapers and the broadcasting media, suggests an element of revenge for them delivering Brexit as they promised.
Thank goodness for the Daily Express and in particular Professor Karol Sikora for the positive coverage in these difficult times.
