Left-wing media has got it in for Johnson’s team
I MUST respectfully disagree with Frederick Forsyth’s take on the lockdown.
He refers to the Asian flu pandemic of 1969/70 in which 80,000 citizens lost their lives and states that there was no lockdown as theWilson government didn’t panic. He suggests that we were a different people then.
Rather than us being a different people, I’d suggest that we have a different media today, for the most part, intent on scoring points against a Conservative government that for various reasons (Brexit, Boris, 10 years in power) they are determined to undermine.
