Art leads the way
YORKSHIRE trainers were celebrating after taking the opening two races at Royal Ascot with Art Power and Dandalla.
Art Power made all the running in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap under Silvestre de Sousa
William Easterby, representing his father Tim, the winning trainer, said: “We might have a look and see what there is at Goodwood.”
Dandalla was the impressive winner of the Albany Stakes for trainer Karl Burke and Ben Curtis, who was registering a first Royal Ascot winner.
“If Dandy Man (her sire) is going to have a 1,000 Guineas winner, it could be her,” revealed Burke.
