DEATH OF ICONIC EAGLE

CRYSTAL PALACE’S famous bald eagle, Kayla, who thrilled millions of Premier League fans down the years, has died.

It would fly between crossbars before games and became one of the most iconic images associated with the club.

“It is with great pain and deep sadness that we must inform you Kayla passed away after a heart attack,” said her owners, The Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation.
