FULHAM are closing in on £10.5million Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert.

The French forward has been on a season-long loan at Craven Cottage.

Knockaert, 28, is set to sign a four-year contract with Fulham, who won 2-1 at QPR on Tuesday to strengthen their chances of a Championsh­ip play-off place. He has made 37 appearance­s for Fulham, scoring four goals.

RAUL JIMENEZ has told anxiousWol­ves fans he is happy at Molineux.

The Mexico internatio­nal, below, has been linked with a £70million move to Liverpool after scoring 24 times this season asWolves push for a Champions League spot.

Jimenez, 29, is flattered by the speculatio­n but insists he is content at the club.

He said: “It feels very good to be aWolves player. My two years here have been unbelievab­le. I think we made that connection since the beginning, since my transfer here. I’m very happy to be here.”

Jimenez has already scored seven more goals than last season. He told the club website: “I’m proud of myself and my team because without them I couldn’t achieve it. Every striker wants to score, score, score.”
