Surely writers can cobble together better storylines
I SHOULD like to join the chorus of disapproval about the storylines in Coronation Street (“Star’s condemnation Street”, July 8).
We used to look forward to every episode but became increasingly disenchanted and gave up watching.
The once popular soap opera was full of gentle northern humour but now it goes from one grim tale to another; just when we all need cheering up.
What is the matter with today’s writers?
